Dr. Johnson is an accomplished refractive surgeon offering LASIK, PRK and the latest in refractive lens options for his cataract patients. He uses the Ziemer™ Z2 femtosecond laser and the WaveLight® EX500 Excimer Laser, providing customized all-laser LASIK and PRK. He is able to correct farsightedness, nearsightedness, astigmatism, and presbyopia with LASIK. Dr. Johnson can offer you a customized LASIK surgery specifically for your eyes with the highest degree of accuracy and safety. He is one of the most experienced surgeons in refractive IOL technology including multifocal, accommodative and astigmatism intraocular lenses. His interest and experience in cataract surgery includes Micro-Incision (MICS) techniques and the use of the LENSAR™ Femtosecond Laser. Dr. Johnson has performed thousands of LASIK, cataract, and refractive eye surgeries. He is one of the most experienced Laser Cataract Surgeons. He provides oculoplastic care including Juvederm and Botox. He has a complete understanding of the human body and how it relates to the eyes, helping him with caring for patients with medical ophthalmology problems.
Dr. Johnson completed his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at the University of Minnesota. He then moved to Duluth to start his medical training. The last two years of his medical school were completed at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He completed a year of internship at Hennepin County Medical Center. He was a standout in his residency at the University of Minnesota.

Personal
Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with his wife and 5 children. They enjoy many outdoor activities including downhill and waterskiing. You may see them at the River Rats Ski show.
