Why did the clinics merge?


We are bringing two of the Twin Cities’ most trusted eye care providers together under one name. Twin Cities Eye Consultants. Our new name is a reflection of our shared mission to provide the highest level of care to our patients across our twelve Twin Cities locations.

Will you have all my current records?


Rest assured that your current records are still with your clinic.

What surgery centers will my doctor go to?


There are seven surgery centers in the metro area that patients will be able to go to for their procedures. Your surgery counselor will work with you and the surgery centers availability.

Which location will I be able to see my doctor at?


Our personalized care and commitment to your well-being will remain unchanged. Twin Cities Eye Consultants has 12 locations across the Twin Cities Metro area. You will be able to make appointments to see your doctor at a location you have been accustomed to going.

Will I be in-network with all of the doctors?


The network status of your doctor(s) will not change as a result of this merge.

What insurance do you take?


We accept most medical plans but you will want to check with your plan for specific benefits and network status. We accept VSP Vision Insurance plan. Medical insurances we accept include but not limited to: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, HealthPartners, Humana, Medica, Medical Assistance, Medicare, PreferredOne, UnitedHealthcare, UCare.

Where will the billing come from?


Our business office consolidated two years ago so the billing will remain the same. You may notice the name and logo change on your statements.

What name do I tell my insurance when I call them to check on my benefits?


It is best to give them the tax ID number: 41-0947717 and the name may be Edina Eye Physicians & Surgeons or Twin Cities Eye Consultants.
